Adopt -Volunteer- Donate- Advocate

Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could do only a little.
— Edmund Burke

Loving dogs of all sizes and shapes are waiting in the hopes of finding a forever home. When you adopt a rescue, you free up a foster home to take in another dog in need.
Choosing a rescue shelter for adoption instead of purchasing a dog also makes an important social statement: That you don’t support backyard breeders or puppy mills. Rescue dogs are intelligent, loving, emotional beings that deserve a chance at a long, happy life.

Please check out our adoptable dogs, you may find the perfect fur baby whose happiness depends on you. Don’t disappoint them!

Most shelters are overflowing and couldn’t take in more animals if they needed to. Many people also need a temporary home for their pets while they seek new housing or weather a crisis. This makes fostering even more important; freeing up spaces in shelters helps them move forward with helping more animals, and fostering a friend’s pet allows them to focus on getting through a trying time with the knowledge their pet is waiting happily for them to return.

Reasons to provide a foster home:
1. Fostering a dog in need is extremely rewarding. Knowing that you have saved a life
    is quite a wonderful feeling.
2. Your own pets will learn more social skills.
3. You will see if you’re ready to own another pet.
4. You can choose which dog you would like to foster.
5. All vet expenses and food is paid for by Rescued for Life, Inc.
6. All mileage on your vehicle used while transporting your fostered dog to the vet,
    events, etc, is tax deductible.
7. When your foster dog is adopted by a loving family you will experience such joy!
8. Seeing your time, love, and dedication pay off in the faces of a happy family and dog
    is well worth the effort!
