Rescued for Life: Dog Adoptions That Last

So many of our dogs found wonderful homes and are currently receiving excellent care and plenty of love.
We are beyond grateful for each one of our adopters who gave a dog a happy ending after a life-long struggle for survival. There is nothing more heartwarming and rewarding than knowing that a rescue dog is finally home and in loving hands, and we extend a heartfelt thank you to every one of you who made a dog’s dream come true by opening up your hearts and homes!

Hope, her sibling, and her mom, Bianca, had been abandoned and were living on the streets of Houston before they found shelter in a garage. Bianca was weak and emaciated and not able to care for both puppies, and sadly, Hope's sibling passed away. When the little family was found, they were taken to a shelter. Surviving the streets was a challenge, but another one was yet to come. Because of the lack of space at the shelter, the family was scheduled to be euthanized.
Rescued for Life opened its heart and home for the delicate little family. We decided to name Bianca's puppy Hope. It was a well-fitting name for a true survivor, and it sent an important message to all of us.
No matter how hard life can be and how many obstacles stand in our way, there is ALWAYS hope.
Bianca and Hope were both adopted, but Hope was returned a few months later. after her return, we received a call from the Sterback family, Bianca's adopters, asking about Hope. When we told them that Hope was returned, they
spontaneously said they would like to adopt her as well. Was this precious reunion coincidence or fate?
When Hope joined her mom, they were full of such joy and happiness. The mother and daughter who struggled to make it got to experience a happy ending side by side.

Beasley was abandoned, living life on the streets and fighting for survival. Eventually, animal control found him and placed him in the shelter. His physical evaluation at the shelter was not good and he was scheduled to be euthanized.
Beasley was rescued by Rescued For Life and arrived with an "old" injury. He likely was hit by a car at some point, and was unable to use his right hind leg. He was living in pain and needed a complicated surgery. The surgery was performed and he healed exceptionally well. Living without pain, life was so much better!
Beasley gained weight and his rugged looking fur turned into a lusterous, shiny red coat. Best of all, he healed emotionally. Sadness in his eyes disappeared and happiness is all you see. His suffering had come to an end. The happiest day of his life was when he joined his family, the Eckert's. They welcomed Beasley with open arms and love. Beasley is finally home, loved and well taken care of.
Life can't get any better than that...

Guess what...no one loves Raymond anymore and  EVERYONE loves Joey. His mom created the page to bring awareness about dogs with disabilities and that they can live a very happy life.
